At Dominic Walmsley Jewellery we specialise in designing and making beautiful bespoke, contemporary jewellery.
We can also transform your existing unworn jewellery into beautiful contemporary pieces.
Whether re-designing an unworn piece of jewellery or creating something to commemorate a special occasion, we like you to be involved with the process as much as possible, working closely with Dominic and his team of award winning craftsmen, to be part of creating something truly unique and personal to you.

Stage one: Tell us  about your desired commission or idea
Simply email, call,  come into our Sevenoaks shop or our London studio to have an initial chat about what you would like to create. Here we can schedule a longer appointment with Dominic himself if this is convenient with you.

Stage two: Discussing your commission
At your appointment Dominic will listen to your ideas, and through sketching, he will develop  a clear understanding of your requirements.  He may also use his thirty years of experience to help you develop your idea and offer you ideas that you may not have thought of, and at this stage, he will be able to estimate a price for the project.

Stage three: Commissioning your bespoke jewellery

Once we both have a clear understanding of the design, and usually, at this stage, very excited to see the finished piece, the commission can be confirmed with a 30% deposit. The balance only due when the piece is finished and you are totally delighted with it. He will also give you a guide to the time frame involved. Most commission are usually completed between 2-5 weeks.

Stage four: Development and fitting
Dominic will work closely with you to create your beautiful piece and a fitting stage is often required so that you can see how your design is progressing.  At this stage we can make slight alterations and double check ring sizes so that when your commission is ready, you can be reassured that the finished piece will be just as you envisaged.
If you are unable to visit us we are happy to send you images of the progress being made of your piece in the studio.

Stage five: The finished piece
When your piece is complete you will be contacted to arrange a collection or delivery. With your commission you will also receive a complementary valuation* along with a photograph for your records. You will also be entitled to free polishing and cleaning of the bespoke item for life.
If you would like to discuss a commission or would like some ideas on re-designing your existing jewellery, please contact us to make an appointment.
